I’ve lived in our area for over 20 years and, having grown up here attending school and university locally, I now work as a local secondary school teacher. I chose a career in public service because I’m passionate about working for the interests of my community. Having worked as a town councillor previously, I not only have the dedication but also the skills and experience to work as an effective local representative for you.

As a young professional working to get onto the property ladder, Labour’s plan to deliver more genuinely affordable homes is extremely important to me. Currently it’s extremely difficult for young people, even those earning above the median wage, to own their own home or even rent at a reasonable price. If elected I’d support measures to deliver more genuinely affordable homes to rent and buy in Cherwell.

As a qualified mental health first aider and with lived experience of the impact of poor mental health, I know how important good mental wellbeing is for individuals and a community. If elected I’d drive forward Labour’s plan to make mental health and tackling loneliness a priority of the council which will support the future prosperity of our area.
