Following advice received from the General Secretary of the Labour Party in July, the Executive Committee of the Banbury and Bicester Constituency Labour Party has agreed that online branch and CLP general meetings may resume from September. The AGM is still postponed until further notice; as a result, officer vacancies will be filled by Executive Committee members on a pro tem basis.
Branch chairs and secretaries will decide how and when to conduct their meetings within the terms of the full guidance laid out by the party and CLP EC. Online branch meeting dates/times and connection details will be circulated by branch secretaries; please check your emails!
It is envisaged that the next CLP general meeting will be held as formerly on the fourth Thursday of the month, i.e. 24th September.
N.B. The information below relates to ‘normal’ (non-pandemic circumstances!)
