I want see a real focus on improving services for all. We need affordable housing and access to social care for those who need it. Local people must have a say in how their services are provided. We must reduce unequal access to opportunities and focus on building up further education to ensure real opportunities to all types of post school learning, ie provide the excellent training and education that tomorrow’s work force will need.

We also need to work to protect our community and the environment. We want to see safe pedestrian and cycle routes, and a commitment to ensuring that people in existing housing and new homes can enjoy cheap green energy. We must tackle the fact that 50%of Cherwell’s homes have below energy efficiency ratings.  We must upskill local young people to provide the skilled labour to ensure people can afford to heat their homes.
