I am standing as a candidate for Labour because I passionately want to help ensure that the town and surrounding areas get the best chance to thrive. I have lived in Bicester for 13 years, am semi-retired and am now heavily involved in a number of local initiatives and organisations.

My role as a school governor has made me aware of the need for opportunities for children and young people and initiatives which promote pride in our town and villages and combat anti-social behaviour.  Mental health and well being are vital for the life of our community, and people need reassurance and local support in these difficult times,

Local planning has to take account of the needs of residents in issues such as the problem of the London Road railway crossing. We need a fresh vision for the future of Bicester.
