Lynne Parsons is Labour’s Candidate for Calthorpe & Easington Ward in the 2023 Cherwell District Council elections.

“I was brought up in London and moved to the Banbury area 40 years ago.  I studied history at Cambridge University and my entire professional life was in education; teacher and school counsellor supporting secondary students experiencing emotional and behavioural challenges. I was a Regional Director in the National Strategies, supporting Local Authorities to raise standards. I have been a school governor and parish councillor.

Since retiring in 2011 I have volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

If elected I will work hard to ensure the communities of Calthorpe and Easington get the services they deserve.”
