Apparently staff have been told to either accept new terms and conditions or to face dismissal, when they don’t even know what these new terms and conditions might be. What kind of a choice is that?
This plant has a long association with Banbury and it is clearly wrong to intimidate their loyal staff in this way. Rather than threatening and bullying, the company should have meaningful talks with the Union so that they can come up with a mutually acceptable and open agreement for all to see before life changing decisions are made.
